Why make one now
Right now you have a key that works. That’s the easiest time to add a second one. Do it at home or at work. We come to wherever the car is parked.
Lose the only key and you’re into an all-keys-lost job. The car can’t be started, and the dealer typically has to order a key by VIN and may require a tow. A spare kept at home or with someone you trust turns a lost key into an inconvenience instead of a tow.
What we do
We cut a new key and program it to your car, so you end up with a second key that starts it. We come to you. The key might be a plain chipped key, a key with a remote, or a push-to-start smart key.
See transponder chip keys, key fob programming and push-to-start smart keys for how each type works. Tell us the year, make and model when you call and we’ll say which kind your car uses, and quote it on the phone.

Questions
Why make a spare before I lose my only key?
With a working key in hand, adding one is usually the simpler job. With no key at all it becomes an all-keys-lost job. A spare also means a lost key doesn't leave you stranded.
What kind of key will I get?
It depends on the car: a plain key, a chipped key, a key with a remote, or a push-to-start smart key. Give us the year, make and model and we'll tell you which yours takes.
How long does it take?
Most jobs are done on the spot, at your car. We quote the price on the phone before we dispatch.
